Picnic in the Arizona Desert? Say no more! Last Month I styled a picnic in our dreamy, desert mountains and it was truly magical. We got a glimpse of our colorful sunsets and were left speechless. Here’s how I planned it!

- Decide on a color pallet -I used a lot of neutrals for the color palette. I mixed and matched throw pillows and layered a few rugs. I wanted it to be the best of both worlds, so I also added a table on the side, that way we also get a more romantic setting. Aesthetically, the design’s color palette brought out the set but also tied in perfectly with the organic background.
- Set a budget & made a list for thrifting- Setting a budget is very important when it comes to planning anything. So I did a lot of D.I.Y’s and also thrifted most of these items. I also used a few items from our shop and I will link them down below.
Decorate Sustainably & Ethically.
Every single item used here was sustainable and pre-loved. It took a few different thrift stops to gather decor but once I found a piece that I loved, I use that to design around it. The first piece I found was this vintage coffee table. From this I kinda played with the rest of the patterns and used what I could find.
Some items used in this shoot are from our shop. Like our rippled cups and charcuterie bord nd with out a doubt those are both ethically made.
Here are some more beautiful close-ups!”
